Shermie Cosplay - Creator Interview

Today, we have the pleasure of interviewing with the incredibly talented and creative cosplayer, Shermie.

Known for her stunning portrayals of iconic characters from Witcher, Genshin Impact, Final Fantasy, Tomb Raider, and many more games and anime; Shermie has captivated audiences across the cosplay community, with her attention to detail and passion for the art of cosplay.

From her intricate costumes to her ability to embody the essence of each character she portrays, Shermie has become a beloved figure in the cosplay community. Earning the opportunity to showcase her work is a real honor for Game Infinite.

Shermie Interview:

Game Infinite: Tell us about your cosplay journey. What got you into cosplay? How long have you been creating cosplay, and what do you love most about it?

Shermie: My best friend once said I should cosplay Shermie, we used to play KOF together on arcades, so I did and liked it. I love being able to bring the characters I love to life.

Final Fantasy Cosplay (Tifa Lockhart)

Gi: For our Gi Channel Community @finalfantasyinfinite, tell us about your absolutely amazing Tifa cosplays. What drew you to the character? What do you love about this franchise?

Shermie: Tifa is one of my favorite characters ever. She is a compassionate and incredible woman that went through a lot but always stayed true to herself.

Witcher Cosplay (Triss, Ciri)

Gi: Your Triss Merigold cosplay from The Witcher is just amazing. She is one of our personal favorites of yours, and one of our favorite characters from the Witcher series! Your Ciri is also incredibly well done. Can you tell us about what you love about this game? What do you love about the characters and cosplaying them?

Shermie: I love the Witcher and made many cosplays from the games. I love everything about them.

Genshin Impact Cosplay (Lisa, Eula, Raiden Shogun)

Gi: We noticed you have so many incredible cosplays, such as Lisa or Eula, from Genshin Impact. These two characers really seems to stand out in the cosplay community. What draws you to these specific characters from that game?

Shermie: For me it is the character designs specifically that really attract me. They are amazing!

Miscellaneous Cosplays: Power Girl, Lara Croft, Raiden Shogun, Marin Kitagawa, Yor, Katarina, Captain Beidou, Esdeath

Shermie has a wide range of amazing characters that she has cosplayed. Some of our personal favorites include Marin Kitagawa, Esdeath, and Powergirl! Fans of our Gi Channel community @tombraiderinfinite can take note that she has a fantastic Lara Croft cosplay as well! She always encapsulates these characters, their energy, and vibe. We personally can't wait to see what she drops next!

We keep seeing certain characters reappear and be popular in the cosplay community; and some of these are inspiring me on future Monthly Creator Themes! Who else thinks Esdeath, Marin, or Powergirl should appearing in future month themes?)

Gi: You have a diverse and large portfolio of characters you have cosplayed as. What does your process look like to select which characters to cosplay? How do you decide? Do popularity or your personal favorites play the strongest factor?

Shermie: Nothing too deep. I just need to like the characters and feel like doing it. I won’t cosplay a character I don’t like no matter how popular they are.

Gi: Can you tease any upcoming characters for our readers to look forward to in the near future? What are some wishlist characters you plan to get to in the future?
